Membership Information

The Redeemed Motorcycle Ministry welcome your interest in membership. The following information will assist you in deciding to join the ministry.

It is a requirement of membership that you are a Born Again Christian in regular attendance at your local church.

The best way to get to know The Redeemed and whether it is a ministry you may be called to is to come on some of the events as an observer. Please review the upcoming events on the website then contact the committee by email or cellphone to see which events may be most appropriate to attend.

Visit the past events on the website and you will get a good overview of the types of outreach The Redeemed organise and attend. The ministry is not limited to those outreaches that appear on past events

Motorcycle ownership is not compulsory but an interest in Motorcycles is a benefit. Backup vehicles are often needed on longer or overnight events.

If after prayerful consideration you feel led to join, please submit an application on the form provided on request.

Application Process:

Please read the Vision/Constitution that accompanies the application form. You will have been given two, if you wish to proceed, please sign one copy and return with your completed application.

Fill out the application and return to a member of the committee accompanied by your membership fee of $20.

You will need to be referred by a full member or supply a referee.

Stages of Membership guideline: Membership has three stages.

1/ Associate: Upon acceptance into the ministry you will be an associate member for a minimum of 6 months. At the committees discretion this time may be extended for such reasons as, the period spanned the Christmas break when the ministry goes into recess for 4-5 weeks, or attendance has not been regular enough to make an informed decision. You will be permitted to wear a Screen printed T Shirt. (Members supply their own shirts to be screened at their own expense).

2/ Full member Badge: The committee will review your membership and at an opportune time invite the associate to become a full member at which point you will be entitled to wear the badge (cost $35). If you accept you will have full member status. This period is for a minimum of 12 months.

3/ Full member Banner: Provided you complete stages one and two above and at the committee's discretion you will be invited to wear The Banner (cost $60).

You are not obliged to move up from one stage to the next, it is an invitation to do so meaning you are entitled to when you feel ready. This may be immediate or at some time later.

Wearing of the badge and the banner is not compulsory; it is a commitment not taken lightly and done as the spirit leads.  

You may move to a lower stage of membership or take a sabbatical at anytime you feel the need, making the request in writing to the committee.
